A Rainy Sunday in South Texas. This is definately a day for sewing and embroidery projects. I have just finished an order for burp cloths and will start on Koozies for West Point Military Academy Womens Club shop. Their shop is called Shop the Point and is a great place to find many one of a kind Army items made by crafters. Also sound like a day for homemade chicken soup. Hmmm, yum, let me find that recipe. Do any of you bloggers have a good recipe for homemade chicken soup? Well off I go. Have a good and blessed day.

Wedding at Disney in Orlando, Fla.

I recently did some embroidery for a client that was having her wedding at Disney in Orlando.  Her mother in law picked out a wedding handkerchief that was given to each of the female guest.  I had the pleasure of doing the embroidery on the keepsake. I have attached a photo of the keepsake.

My Coffee Filter Wreath

I am a fan of Pinterest and found this wreath to really be beautiful.  It is a coffee filter wreath.  This is my version of it.  I hung it on the mirror that is in my dining room. I love the touch that it gives my room.  It was very time consuming but worth it in the end.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Spring in South Texas

My yard has really taken off.  After our drought in Texas last year I really thought that my yard would not survive.  I have spent several evenings pulling the weeds from my yard and now have a very "cushie" grass.
